I just feel want to take a break for one semester. Doing something that I really enjoy…

i. Listen classical music for whole day

ii. Attend a software lesson from AA

Unlike the studio life in UTM, lousy lecturer, boring presentation, brainless input.. I do not know how UTM become the top 10 university in Southeast Asia. Depends on the foreign students? Lousy facility and food?

Yes, base on the ‘protected group’..

Base on the musician that always make noise in the early morning in my hostel…stupid milo..

When I saw the milo graduate, I just wonder how they can survive in the society nowadays..and furthermore, I should say they are rich enough to take care their ‘Dusun Durian’ after graduate. OMG..

Really frustrated in local university..

IIT Roorkee Competition

Before this, I took part in the Antarctica Research Center Design with Chiou Yann. Since we got the jury commendation, hence we are asking for a certificate from IIT Roorkee.
Yippi, finally I got the certificate from India. It took 1 month for the delivery from Institute of technology Roorkee to Malaysia. Anyway, it is worth that I took part the competition with Chiou Yann.

ARCHIDEX 2009

ARCHIDEX is recognised as the region's annual premier exhibition for the architecture, interior design and building industry.
In this event, Bruce senior was asking for volunteer that willing to help. So, I accepted the invitation quickly. Due to this opportunity, I feel very lucky where I can join the event for free, having dinner with Han Tumertekin, Junya Ishigami and Roman Delugan.
Rather than that, I follow Kenneth and went to KLIA and looking for Winy Maas.
Finally, I meet an architect from Bangladesh at the end of the event.
This few days is just like what I experience in India...full with international and famous architects. Anyway, I think I need to do more practice in term of social technique.

This is what I did recently in my office. The site is in Makkasan, Bangkok. Now is busying with the presentation in Bangkok soon. Since I have to stop my intern earlier, I think I have no chance to go to Bangkok.

Anyway, this is a very fun project.

Office

Today is the first time that I stay in the office due to the important meeting by Mr. Goh tomorrow.
5 of us are doing the presentation boards for the discussion of the Makkasan Project.
This is an ambitious project where it include ski centre, world trade centre, comercial area, university, housing, entertainment, Expo centre, water canal.............
I'm glad that this is one of the golden opportunity to learn how to design a big city..

Besides that, today is the first time that I meet Mr.Goh- a 70 years old man. I'm quite surprise when my colleague calling me for joining the meeting.
Anyway, he is the one that made me continue to study architecture. His project is huge and ambitious. I learn so much things from his sketches..huhu..
All the best for tomorrow's presentation. The Thai King will be here...

Bitmap reflection

3ds max getting more and more interesting. This is the next try for the material. I play around with the fake reflection and lighting.

My next lesson for 3ds max rendering..

A sphere with a clay wireframe material

A simple teapot, but took me some time to do the setting. I never imagine that the plan can render until so nice.

It is my second tried on mental-ray and show casting tutorial. I hope next week week can able to render in a proper interior with a nice furniture...

My Internship......

AJM, Akitek Jururancang malaysia, this is the place where I having my internship.
What I can say about this firm is......too ambitious..
For the first week, I just need to do is finish the detailing for the palace in Perlis. So, I spend my two weeks time on doing the detailing. Of course, I learn a lot within this two week.
Since this is a big firm, so I dint expect to do design....and hopefully can go though this intern easily......
Unfortunately....
This week is crazy...I cannot do so many things la...
First- design a Hotel with Alhambra Palace Concept..??? What the hell...
Second- Proposed and finish the working drawing for a high rise building (Parcel K)
Parcel K is just one of the high rise in Perkeliling riverside project..Can you imagine stil have Parcel A, Parcel B,..........until Parcel X..
They start to do this project since 1997....??
I thought this one is too much already...
Suddenly, add one more project in Makkasar, Bangkok.. an urban project again...
pengsan......I just finished to trace the map in autocad...
Anyway, my colleague even worst....work from Monday to Sunday...Pity for her...
So, I still enjoying actually..hahahaha
Ya...one more thing, 2 more competition.....Smile

3ds max- texture

This is my first try on modeling and rendering using 3ds max. 3ds max rendering option is over control, it can be anything. The most important tool to master 3ds max is by creativity.
Even though there are some high end option where it is hard to explore, but I will try and learn it one by one.

This is a simple rendering. I try to explore the steel texture, wireframe and clay wireframe..
It is interesting anyway..

Final Crit

Finally, I did my final submission this morning.
Not a good presentation, but I don't care about it already..haha
I can play tumble bugs tonight..yippi
